Students will learn the fundamentals of supply chain management. Supply chain management aims to coordinate decisions made by suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and retailers, so that merchandise is produced and distributed in the right quantities, to the right locations, and at the right time. Topics include supply chain strategy, design of the distribution network, demand forecasting, sourcing, transportation and logistics, management of inventory flow in the supply chain, and supply chain coordination.
