Second-Baccalaureate-Degree Students

Students may earn a second baccalaureate degree provided that they complete 30 additional credits at Baruch for BA and BS degrees and 31 additional credits at Baruch for the BBA degree. All requirements for the degree must be met and students must choose an entirely new major. None of the courses in the second major can have previously been applied to the major for the first degree.

Students already in possession of a bachelor’s degree may not gain admission to some high-demand programs and should consider programs of similar content on the graduate level. The Zicklin School of Business does not accept Undergraduate Second Degree students into the Accounting Program (in effect as of Fall 2011). As an alternative, applicants currently holding a bachelor’s degree of any kind are advised to apply for admission to the Zicklin School’s Master of Science (MS) program in Accounting.
