Description
Leaders must foster new ideas, obtain resources, articulate their vision and gain key stakeholder support. Students will foster these leadership skills in this capstone course, which teaches students the foundations of entrepreneurship and the process of venture creation. During the semester, students will draw upon the resources of New York City's entrepreneurship ecosystem as they develop a case for the creation of a venture through the preparation of a viable business plan and pitch. In this assignment, students will move through the stages of conceptualizing a new venture idea, understanding feasibility, and articulating their vision to key stakeholders. The class will include cases, lectures, and numerous experiential learning activities.
