Description

Formerly BIO 2012. This course describes the identifying characteristics of major phyla, classes, and orders of invertebrate animals. Laboratory periods are used to study the morphological, physiological, behavioral, and ecological characteristics of selected invertebrates. Examples of the ecological and economic importance of specific organisms are explained throughout the course. (Students will receive credit for BIO 3020 or ENV 3020, not both. These courses may substitute for each other in the F-replacement policy.)
