Firms in the Global Economy

Description

An essential task of corporate managers is to understand the economic environment in which firms operate. This environment is composed of several agents: consumers, competitors, government agencies, and markets. The course addresses both the microeconomic aspects of managerial decisions as well as the analysis of the global environment in which these decisions are made. Particular emphasis will be given to the discussion of the effects of capital mobility, global competition, and regulations on market outcomes.
