Elementary Japanese I

Description

This is the first course of introductory Japanese that aims to give students a command of written and spoken language and grammar. Emphasis is on communication skills and the cultures of Japanese-speaking people. Self-expression is developed through the use of collaborative, situational, and presentational activities. This course is not open to students with two or more years of high school Japanese, to students with prior knowledge of the language, or to students with the NJPN student group.
