Description

This is the second course of a one-year introductory sequence that aims to give students a command of written and spoken language and grammar. Emphasis is on communication skills and the cultures of French-speaking peoples. Self-expression is developed through the use of collaborative, situational, and presentational activities. The sequence is designed around an interactive, communicative approach, with a focus on communication in meaningful contexts.This course is not open to students with two or more years of high school French, to students with prior knowledge of the language, or to students with the NFRE student group.
