Classical Chinese Literature II

This course examines major works of Chinese literature from the Song Dynasty in the tenth century to the nineteenth century. Students will read the original Chinese texts in classical and vernacular styles and will develop a knowledge and appreciation of Chinese literature together with its historical and cultural backgrounds.
