Description
This course introduces fundamentals of world human geography, including maps and map reading, landforms and climate, elementary spatial analysis, population and migration, and patterns of resource distribution and use. Particular emphasis is given to the dynamics of human environmental interaction, cultural diversity, and concepts of regionalism. Several local field trips will be required. This course is equivalent to GEOG 3009. Students may receive credit for either GEOG 3009 or ANT 3009. These courses may not substitute for each other in the F-grade replacement policy.
