Contemporary Drama: The New Theatre

Covering a range of work, this course will consider how dramatists in the last several decades have experimented with form and material to challenge their audiences and engage with social, cultural, and political change. Taking into account questions of staging, acting, and other aspects of currenttheatrical practice, the course will draw insights from performance studies and other relevant theoretical models.
