Description

This course will cover various issues related to organizational / societal social responsibility and information technologies. Social responsibility encompasses such objectives as promoting the wellbeing and dignity of individuals, of the diverse communities in which we participate, and of society at large, as well as maintaining a profound respect for the environment and for our position as environmental stewards. Topics will cover ethical, social and cultural issues, including IT-enabled access for the disabled, intellectual property, internet security and privacy, social networking, and asynchronous learning.
