This course examines the many steps a designer takes to transform graphic design concepts into finished products. Whether for printed communication, corporate presentation, product/package design, digital marketing, wearable or large format graphics, or environmental design, the production process requires research, knowledge of industry standards, strategy, technical expertise, conceptual acuity, and creative problem-solving. Through hands-on learning and studies of contemporary and historical examples, students will gain the foundational skill set needed for bringing a design to life.
